Comme Elton le dit très bien au début de cette performance solo en Suède (du même concert dont est extrait "Ticking", présenté précédemment sur ces pages), la chanson parle d'un danseur de ballet en Amérique, au milieu des années 80, qui attrape le sida. Et à cette époque-là, le gouvernement Reagan ne faisait absolument rien pour les personnes atteintes de cette maladie, ce qui est une honte.

As Elton says it very well at the beginning of that solo performance in Sweden (from the same concert that is taken "Ticking", presented some articles ago on this blog), the song is about a dancer, in the United States, who gets Aids. And at that time, the Reagan government did absolutely nothing for people with that disease, which is really a shame.
